Our offer is aimed at patients who have noticed a disturbance in their memory or other areas of mental performance (such as concentration, speech, social behavior, visual-spatial abilities).
Our multidisciplinary team consists of doctors of neurology, psychiatry, neuropsychologists, medical assistants, study nurses and social workers.
Our services include comprehensive consultation, diagnostics, therapy and support for patients with cognitive disorders and their families.
During the outpatient consultation, short tests are also carried out to check memory performance in order to classify the disorders that have been noticed. If necessary, an appointment is then made for a short inpatient stay in order to clarify the cause of manifest memory disorders that exceed the age limit.
Our in-patient diagnostics includes all scientifically based methods for the clarification of cognitive disorders. These include detailed neuropsychological examinations, examinations of blood and cerebrospinal fluid ("cerebrospinal fluid"), if necessary a magnetic resonance tomography of the brain, EEG and ultrasound examination of the blood vessels supplying the brain as well as the modern methods of positron emission tomography (PET).
Our therapy is based on the latest scientifically founded guidelines. We also offer our patients the opportunity to participate in scientific studies in which new, promising therapies are tested.
Our consulting services include socio-medical counseling, groups of relatives and advice on genetic diagnostics for patients with family history.
